The Department of Supply Chain Management at the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business — consistently ranked among the best in the world for empirical supply chain research — will offer a master of science in supply chain management program (MS SCM) starting in the fall semester.

Delivered fully online, the new program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals.

At the Ivy College of Business, we have one of the best supply chain departments in the world. For anyone interested in an online master’s degree in the field of supply chain management, learning from the faculty at Iowa State is the best choice.

This 30-credit master’s program addresses the imperative and lasting supply chain talent need.

“This online graduate program provides students flexibility in their schedule and location,” said Department of Supply Chain Management Chair Haozhe Chen. “Students can choose their pace. They can complete the entire program as quickly as 12 months if they take four courses in the fall, four courses in the spring, and two courses in the summer.”

To equip the students with the skill sets that can meet industry needs, the proposed program will have a strong analytical emphasis with a goal of being STEM-designated.
